LKP sponsored the first ever conference of the International Society for Gastro-intestinal Hereditary Tumours (InSiGHT), held in Newcastle in June 2005. This conference also incorporated the annual meeting of the UK Cancer Genetics group. Over 450 delegates attended from all over the world.

The next meeting of the InSiGHT Group will be held in Yokohama, Japan on 27-30 March 2007.
