We're developing a regional network of genetic support groups in the North East. If you are involved with a local genetic support group we would really like to hear from you as the network is being created to help support local groups like yours. The aim of the network is to identify and address the issues and needs which are shared by genetic support groups in the region.
If you are thinking of starting a new support group we can give you guidance on how to set up a group. Need a meeting room? At the Institute of Human Genetics, in Newcastle, there is a meeting room which can be used for free by new or already established groups.
