Life Knowledge Park is a collaboration which brings together key stakeholders from many disciplines built around a core theme of exploring genetic instability.
This is achieved through a unique collaboration between scientific researchers in the Crucible Laboratory and the Northern Genetics Service, looking at ways to translate research into benefits for patients.
The PEALS Research Institute supports the project with their range of activities in the field of social science in genetics and applied bioethics.
The Science Centre and Lifelab promote science education to members of the public and to schoolchildren in the region.
